Iron Heart IH-666 18 Oz. (10 Years, Countless Washes)
We get plenty of jeans in our inbox that remind us of the vintage denim but it’s sort of rare that we get a pair of jeans that make us nostalgic for the raw denim boom of the 2010s. Luckily, Rafdal’s mega faded Iron Heart 666s in 18oz denim are the perfect visual.
Faded down in Indonesia, this decade-long run started with a dedicated 4-year stretch which saw them get pulled on daily. And because our guy knew he owned his jeans and not the other way around, he did not baby them when it came to H2O, giving no hesitation to washes, whenever necessary. Now worn only on special occasions, we can’t help but think the high-contrast, symmetrical wear is some of the best we’ve seen, both in the past and present.

This duo of Mocs are made in Maine from gorgeous USA-tanned roughout leather from Tasman tannery, the quality and texture of which is stand out – not to mention gorgeous. Secondly, DR worked with EasyMoc designer and founder Greg Cordeiro to ensure that the shoe isn’t just beautiful, but functional. That explains the high detail and mounting of said Moc on top of incredibly comfortable and functional Vibram soles.
Both pairs feature Easymoc’s revered craftsmanship throughout but offer totally different looks. The Beach colorway is light and airy, and sits upon a classic cream-colored Vibram Christy sole, while the Coyote Waxed Roughout pair is earthy and pragmatic, anchored by a Vibram 2062 Olympic sole with a gentle heel.
Available for $365-385 respectively from Division Road.

Respect your elders in the Our Legacy Elder Short Sleeve Shirt in Brown Sparse Panama. It’s short everything season – short sleeves, short pants, shortened work/school hours. Temps are rising, and it’s always good to have some smart-looking, vacation-friendly options in your arsenal. This is one of those, let me tell you. A brown garment is an underrated thing. They make outfits feel more natural, know what I mean?
This shirt is made in Portugal using a 100% cotton Italian ‘linen’, making it lightweight and breathable for those humid days you can’t avoid going out in. Dual hip pockets make the shirt more functional than most shirts in this category. Spread collar, tonal stitching, and mother of pearl button front placket round everything out — dare I say it —perfectly.
Available for $286 from Lost & Found.

The designers at Deluxeware know that the best denim shirt is more than just a cool pocket. You have to start with the right fabric, like a 10.5 oz rope-dyed indigo denim from Ibara Mill of Okayama Prefecture, Japan, woven from 100% Memphis cotton known for its charmingly rough and uneven hand feel. The denim comes raw, with selvedge detailing visible on the inner button placket and the side gussets. The slim cut of the body is complemented by the soft shoulder created by a triple-stitched raglan sleeve.
Borrowing details from 1940s work shirts, the inner collar is lined with an 11 oz duck canvas and topped off with a throat tab. Riveted buttons are tucked away under a hidden placket, creating a smooth front that draws attention to the unique chest pocket. Clearly borrowed from the back of a pair of jeans, the pocket is complete with corner rivets and the decorative stitching used on most Deluxeware dungarees.
Available for $205 at Iron Shop Provisions.
