Ray has devoted the last 5 years of his life to the way of the Samurai. He has been living it, breathing it, surrounding himself with it every day. He has practiced discipline, loyalty, and patience. Oh wait, sorry for the confusion, I’m talking about Samurai Jeans. Was that not clear? Yeah, he’s worn a pair of Samurai S710s religiously and they look insane.
After 4 washes and 5 years of everyday wear over in Indonesia, Ray has a lot to be proud of with these 19 oz. Samurai 710xx. On the front porch you have fade fireworks flying everywhere from the whisker-laden top block down to the ‘don’t look directly into them or you will go blind’ knee craters.
On the back, Ray has carved in sneaky seat whiskers on the outer edges of the seat and a pair of honeycombs that look as if they’ve been slashed in with a samurai sword.

A lot of brands produce western wear with no real connection to the American West at all. That’s all well and good — we’re completely down with paying homage — but when a brand collaborates with a legitimate ranch for a limited collection of ranch-inspired workwear, it hits in a different way.
Complemented by a selection of graphic tees and hats, the Hightail Ranch x Iron & Resin collection is home to ranch-ready garb for almost every part of the body, from Double Knee Work Pants and Waxed Canvas Work Jackets to Elk Hide Gloves and Broken Twill Popovers.

If run-of-the-mill Shell Cordovan leather no longer does it for you, first off, you may be officially jaded, but b) Viberg has the solution with its Mahogany Hatchgrain Shell Cordovan footwear collection.
Featuring a boot, loafer, and chukka option because you can definitely afford all 3, this collection features a truly special Shell Cordovan that subs pure sheen for a textured appearance which adds extra depth to a range of footwear that considers no detail too small. From the stunning round-toed last of the Navvy Boot and the refined almond-toe 1905 last of the Bristol Loafer to the British Army-inspired Uplands Boot, no matter what your inclination, Viberg has you covered with an end-tier shoe, handcrafted in Canada using Goodyear Welt construction and some of finest leather money can buy.
Available from $1,740 from Viberg.
Post Overalls sees your cropped t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, & pants and raises the stakes while chopping the hem. The result is the Mechanic Blouse in an 8 oz deep wash indigo denim. Modeled after what appears to be a classic chore coat design sans the bottom half, the shorter length and 2-pocket deduction doesn’t bother us at all. An agile lightweight garment that seamlessly translates into daily living without fear of getting asked to weld steel beams on the RCA building in 1930s NYC? Sign us all the way up.
Adorned with 2 off-center ‘acorn’ shaped pockets and metal donut buttons, a cinch back around back harkens back to even earlier days of workwear when the selvedge line between jacket and shirting was a little hazy. But for us, it’s just another cool detail to add to the pile which makes this lightweight, heavy-duty chore-shirt-jacket-blouson one to seriously consider as Spring rounds the corner.
Available for $350 from Sun House.
Keen motorcyclist, weekend hiker, full-time heritage© dude, desk jockey making it happen 9-5 — whatever brigade you’re a part of — a pair of fatigue pants is an undisputed essential. And while the fatigue is most commonly seen in cotton sateen, Iron & Resin invites you to join the HBT brigade with the latest rendition of its Brigade Pant.
Formulated in the late 40s and immortalized in the 60s through the OG107 pant, this timeless silhouette with its large patch pockets up front and durable patch pockets at the rear is one that transcends workwear and fashion. Iron & Resin’s latest Brigade pant pays homage to the earliest HBT fatigues from 1947 but brings them into the modern day with a slim-straight fit, omission of waist adjusters, and a choice of three colorways to flavor your wardrobe with. Each pair comes fitted with a branded leather patch on the rear and custom Iron & Resin hardware, including a nifty additional belt loop with key holder.
Available at Iron & Resin for $119.
